WHO WE ARE
Clean4Change began with our founders, Katelyn Johnston and Shayla Long, passionate to address climate change during their senior year at Assumption High School in Louisville. Since 2021, the founder's group has spread across the state impacting various towns and communities.
Our organization continues to give back to others serving different areas of Kentucky. From Louisville, to Berea, to other areas in Kentucky, Clean4Change continuously provides opportunities for any effort to be involved in addressing climate change. Join Clean4Change to help your community for the better, and change the world's climate to be healthier and cleaner.

Our Mission
We believe in creating a greener future for our planet through education and action. We aim to limit the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities by connecting with these groups to address environmental harms.
Clean4Change’s mission is to provide education for communities throughout Kentucky on how to best care for the planet and life on it. We are dedicated to providing accessible projects and education throughout the region to engage all people. We host virtual and in-person education events, as well as hands-on projects like park clean-ups.
As a group that believes in a just transition, we commit to diversity. We value diverse perspectives to our world's pressing issues. Because we all breathe the same air, climate injustice anywhere means climate injustice everywhere.
We coordinate community clean ups, advocacy socials, educational activities, and more to provide a clean future for generations to come.
Working together we can build a future of inclusivity.
