Earth Day on Campus! 

As a youth-led organization, we focus our energy toward bringing in youth in every way we can. For Earth Day 2024, we received a grant from the Post Landfill Action Network and EarthDay.org to table at the Earth Day celebrations on our college campuses. We tabled at Berea College and Western Kentucky University, asking students to write a letter to Governor Andy Beshear requesting that he phase out plastic and styrofoam use at the Kentucky Capitol. Each person who wrote a letter was able to take home a plant, provided by the WKU Horticulture club and bought from the Berea College Horticulture farm. We had stickers, coloring sheets and door prizes for students to learn more about our organization and what we do. Thanks to everyone who came out!
